A case is used to document the pre-discussions before something relating to a tenancy turns into a breach. This guidance will show you how to record a case in Zavanti.
- Click on Tenancies under Housing to view all current Tenancies.
- Search for the Tenancy you wish to record a new case for.
- Click the CASES tab from the top menu.
- Click on + New Case.
- Choose the category from the dropdown.
- Choose the subject from the dropdown, using the tick boxes.
Note: multiple can be selected.
- Depending on the subject you choose will determine what fields appear that you need to complete.
- Complete the additional fields that appear:
- Add a 'Case Title'.
- Add a 'Reported on' Date.
- Add a 'Reported by'.
- If the person reporting this issue would like to remain anonymous then tick the box.
- Add the 'Origin'.
- Add the 'Severity' of this case.
- Navigate options for if this is a formal complaint.
- Press Save on the record.
