To begin, use the link
This will bring you to Microsoft's Self Service Password Reset (SSPR, of course there's an acronym for it) system. If it doesn't bring you directly there, select Security Info on the left.
You can choose to either add a phone number that is trusted (like your mobile phone or work office phone number), setup your own security questions, or use the Microsoft Authenticator app for mobile phones. Of course, you can setup multiple optiions, but you must choose at least ONE of these options.

Office Phone
To setup an office phone number (Direct Dial DDI or the site phone number), choose Alternate Phone from the Add a Method drop down box.
Type in the phone number including the regional code (eg. 03 or 09). This should be a phone number you can answer yourself, not a number answered by reception. Press Next.
The system will then call the number you specified.
An automated call will be made to the number you selected. When called, you will be asked to press the hash key # on your phone to confirm.
Your office phone will now be set as your authenticated number.
