A tip for running Microsoft Outlook is to use one instance of Outlook for your calendar and a second instance of Outlook for your inbox.
That way, if you need to check your schedule, you don’t have to lose that search you just did or your place in line for going through and clearing out the clutter folder.
One way to accomplish this is to right click on the Calendar icon and choose Open in New Window
Another method is once Outlook is running, right click on the Outlook icon in the taskbar at the bottom and click on Outlook. A second instance will start up and you can flip one to Calendar view. Even better, if you have more than one screen, you can leave your calendar running on another screen so you’ll never be late for that next meeting.
