This guide will show you how to reply to reply to a specific message in a Teams' chat
While this only works in chats, not channels (what’s the difference you ask? Click here for more), it’s handy when there’s a long list of messages or many people chatting. This way you can respond to a specific message in a chat thread.
Just hover your mouse over the message, click the quote marks, type your message and click send. Now you can target your response just to that message and a copy of the message you’re replying to is included.
