Samsung Phone setup

This article covers the setup of Samsung phones.

 

Most of the steps is just simply a matter of selecting next.

 

PLEASE NOTE: You MUST first insert your sim card into the phone before starting this process.

 

Step 1: After you have inserted the sim into the phone, turn the phone on.  You will be presented with a 'Let's go!' message, press on the blue arrow on the screen.

Step 2: you will be presented with a whole bunch of tick boxes.  you may either tick everything if you are happy with their terms or just the first 2 tick boxes that are compulsory.

Step 3:  Depending on your phone, you may be presented with a message saying that the phone is protected by Knox cloud.  Just simply press the OK option if you get this message. You will need to connect to the Wisegroup wifi. The password is 'revolutionwireless'.

Step 4: The phone will be looking for updates at this point. just leave it to do its thing for a bit.

Step 5: The phone will show a 'set up your phone' message.  Select the 'accept and continue' option to proceed.

Step 6: On the next screen the phone will work on setting things up. just let it do its thing for a bit.

Step 7: The phone will still be working on setting things up on this screen. 
Please Note: IS do NOT actively monitor your phone.  What IS can do is remotely reset your phone in the event that it is lost or stolen and that is about as far as we go. We CANNOT detect the location of the phone.

Step 8:  Your phone will again be setting things up on this screen. Just let it do its thing for a bit.

Step 9: On this screen just simply select 'Accept & Continue' top proceed with the setup

Step 10: You will be presented with the below sign in screen. Enter your Work Email and then select Next

Step 11: On the next page you will be asked to enter your Password that you use to log into your computer

PLEASE NOTE: IS will never ask you for your password either over the phone or in email.  Never share your password with anyone and make sure that if you are asked to enter your password into ANY website, that it is an IS approved website.  This page, and this page only is approved by IS for you to enter your password into. Another app that will ask for your password is the official Microsoft Outlook App that will come pre-installed on your phone after the setup is complete. Do not use your password with ANY other third party app or an app that you have downloaded from either the play store or online.

Step 12: After you proceed with this the phone will do some things in the background. Let it do its thing for a while.

Step 13: Your phone will land on the home page after the setup is complete

Please let the phone sit for around 10 minutes.  The phone is programmed to install IS approved apps and this will take a little while. once the apps are installed you can proceed with using it.
