Removing a Google Account on Android

Removing a Google account from your Android phone is a simple process that can be done in a few easy steps. 

Note: The steps and visuals may slightly vary depending on the Android version and device you are using. 
 

Access the Settings menu

Go to the Accounts section, scroll down the Settings menu until you find the Accounts option.



Select the Google account you wish to remove

After selecting the Google account, you will be presented with various sync options. Tap on the three-dot menu icon located in the top-right corner of the screen to open additional options.

From the options menu, select Remove Account A confirmation prompt will appear. Click Remove Account to proceed.

To confirm the removal, you will need to enter your device's security PIN, pattern, or password. Enter the required information and tap "OK" or "Confirm."

After confirming the removal, you will see a confirmation message indicating that the account has been successfully removed from your device.

Please keep in mind that removing the account will also remove certain features and services associated with it, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive.
