Copy Contacts From Samsung to Outlook

This guide will show you how to copy contacts form Samsung to Outlook on your phone. 

If you are changing phones or setting up a new phone you can choose to copy your contacts across to Outlook. This will require the Outlook app (our preferred email app) to be able to copy across contacts. 

Note: The red squares in the images are for indication purposes and will not show on your phone screen.
 

Open the contacts app and select the 3 dots on the top right of the screen.


 

Select the Share in the dropdown.


 

Select all contacts, or select each contact that you wish to transfer, next, click share at the bottom of the screen.


 

Select the Outlook app, this will create a new email with a file attached, send this email to yourself.

Open the email on your computer and download the contacts file that you have just sent.  Download the file to your computer (make sure to save this somewhere easy to access). 
 

In outlook, go to File in the top left-hand corner.


 

Click Open & Export, then select Import/Export.


 

Select Import a VCARD File (.vcf) and then click next.

Select the file that you saved to your computer in step 5 and click Open.

Once you have opened the file this will copy the contacts over to your Outlook to access.
