- First off, remove any email accounts from your phone. If you have a Samsung, for instructions on how to do this, click here.
- You will also need a Google account attached to your phone. For instructions on how to do this if you have a Samsung, click here.
- Open the Google Play store, on the default screen it is circled in red below.
- Search for "Outlook", the first result should have the name "Microsoft Outlook" and the icon displayed below.
- Install and then open this program. You should be greeted with a Get Started button as below.
- Enter your email address into the next screen, then push Continue. Example Below.
- It will look up your account, then redirect you to this screen. You might be familiar with it as it is the official login screen for Office365 accounts. Put your password into here and then press "Sign In".
- The below screen will pop up. This is asking for administration so we can wipe your device if it is lost. Press "Activate".
- If you do not already have a PIN, Password or Pattern. It will ask you to set a new one and redirect you to the screen.
- On the next screen, tap "Maybe Later".
- Nearly done! As you can probably see your emails will have started coming through
but the "Focused Inbox" feature is enabled, which might mean you miss emails. You can turn this feature off by tapping the cog in the upper right hand corner, then tapping the toggle beside "Focused Inbox" - And you're done!
