Using views and filters

Follow

In Zavanti information from the left-hand menu items is typically presented as a table, or “view”.
There are several ways to work with views, that work across all the entities and views that you can access.

  1. You can change the view, to do this, click on the down arrow of the list name at the top of the screen and then choose from the list of options
  2. Some views (e.g. the Activities view) allow further filtering of the information that is shown. To do this, click on the down arrow for the ‘Due’ filter and choosing the appropriate filter.
  3. You can also do further filtering by Clicking on the down arrow for the ‘Activity Type’ filter and choosing from the list of activities. This is a multi-filter, so you can choose more than one type at a time.
  4. You can filter or sort the records, to do this, click on one of the headings, and select either Sort or Filter.

The Filter option will bring up another selection box, where can use a series of filters. The filters shown will depend on whether the column of data represents names, addresses, users, amounts or dates. For example, to see properties in Kay Rd you would use:

    Filter: Contains
    Value: Kay
The click on the Apply button

This will bring up a list of properties where the address matches.

  5. You can change your default view, If you want to see a particular view each time you enter a screen, then you can change this by firstly selecting that view, then using the “set current view as my default option”. The screenshot below sets “My active tenancies” as the default view whenever you select Tenancies from the left-hand menu.
