My Team's Medication Support - report guide

Follow

What does the report do?

This report shows you the people that report to you, and their Medication Support observation status. The status could be one of:

  • Not required*
  • Current. They have had their latest expected Medication Support review.
  • Near due. They are soon due to have a Medication Support review.
  • Overdue. They have missed their expected Medication Support review date.

For each person, the report also lists their:

  • Last achieved date - the date their last successful review was signed off.
  • Last review type** (see below).
  • Next due date.
  • Next review type.

The next due date can be in the past. I.e. if the kaimahi has missed a review, or if it was not recorded in Cornerstone.

* How is it decided who requires Medication Support?

Kaimahi require Medication Support reviews if they work in role that provides medication and in a service that provides medication. So, most people are flagged based on their position and cost centre in Cornerstone.

Kaimahi that need Medication Support reviews because they work in services outside their usual service must be flagged in Cornerstone. This is especially relevant for casual staff.

Let the cornerstone@wisegroup.co.nz team know if you want a kaimahi flagged as requiring Medication Support.

** Review types

Blank: Has no record of a medication support observation.

Initial review: Review to be completed within the first 2 weeks of employment.

Six month review: Review to be completed after their first six months of employment

Annual review: Review to be completed after their first year of employment and then annually after that.

Reminders

Reminders/notifications are not sent for medication support.

Where does the data come from?

This is Cornerstone data, refreshed daily.

Cornerstone data is generated by the Medication Support eForm, and is maintained by the Apps and Data team - cornerstone@wisegroup.co.nz.

How do I correct mistakes and make changes?

  • Data was migrated from the employees training record, if you notice any incorrect dates contact cornerstone@wisegroup.co.nz to have these dates updated.
  • If someone is listed on your 'My Team Structure' report, but not this report, it may be because their position is not marked as requiring a Medication Support Observation.
  • If someone is listed who you no longer requires a medication support observation as a part of their role, then tell us at cornerstone@wisegroup.co.nz

If you're seeing people who shouldn't be there (incorrect manager, team, or cost centre data) then see How to fix people with the wrong team, cost centre, or manager

Anything else - email cornerstone@wisegroup.co.nz or use the Cornerstone support request eForm

What data is included?

Data from the employee records of employees that are currently employed.

What data is excluded?

  • People who have left.
  • New starters (until after their first day).
  • People that don't report up to you (and that you haven't been given special access to).

Who gets access?

All Pathways/Real managers (employees who have a current staff member reporting to them) should automatically get access to the report, and their reporting line.

If you need to check why someone doesn't have access then contact helpdesk@wisegroup.co.nz.

To request access request access for a non-manager or to add additional cost centres or teams raise a Data access request.
