How to use document folders for a Tenancy or Property

In this guide you will learn how to create, view and edit files in the Tenancy and Property folders.

  1. Open the tenancy or property to view documents


  2. Click the 3 dots on the far right then click Documents


  3. Here you will see all the folders for the Property or Tenancy, click on them to view contents.


  4. When a property or tenancy is created the below folders get created automatically:
    Property Folders Tenancy Folders
    Archive Archive
    Compliance Bond information
    General Breaches
    Invoices Inspections and Maintenance
    Landlord Agreements Invoices
    Photos Other
      Rent Changes
      Tenancy Agreement
      Tenancy Services
  5. To create a new document, click New and select what type of document to create. This will open the office application and will automatically save your document to the property or tenancy folders.


  6. If you would like to upload an existing file select the folder you wish to save it to then click on  Upload and Choose File. You can choose to overwrite the existing file from the drop-down menu by selecting yes or no.


  7. If you need to rename the file, select it and click Edit Properties, from here you can change the name of your document.
    Note: You cannot change the name while the file is open.


  8. To view/edit documents in a SharePoint library view, select open location, then Documents on Default Site 1 and it will look like the below.
