How to print or download training history for an employee

Follow

All staff can print or download their own training record in Cornerstone. But if you need to do it on behalf of someone who reports to you, here's how.

Open the employee's training record

To start, open the employee's training record. There's a few ways to get there - here is one:

Go to Cornerstone, in the My Team's Learning section choose My Team's Learning.

Click the view training record icon next to the relevant employee.

This shows the employee's 'active' (incomplete) training. You probably want to print completed training - so change the 'Active' filter to 'Completed'.

Method 1 - Print

Press the ellipses button on the top right, and choose 'Print Training record'.

If you want, you can change the filters before you print.

You now see a list of the training that will be printed. Press the 'Print' button.

This will open your browser's print window. There you should be able to select a printer, choose print options.

If you want the Training record as a PDF you should be able to select 'Save as PDF' or 'Microsoft Print to PDF'.

Press 'Print' one more time, and you're done.

Method 2 - If you like a bit more colour

From the completed courses view, press the ellipses button on the top right, and choose 'Export to PDF'.

Your browser will now download a PDF with their training record. Look in your Downloads folder for a file named [Their Name]-Trainingrecord-[date].pdf. (e.g. FayDaway-Trainingrecord-10-01-2022.pdf).

When you open the PDF it looks a bit like this:

You can print that PDF, email it to someone, or just keep it somewhere safe.
