Oh those pesky scammers, they’re at it again. The splendiferous IS team have been getting a number of reports about calls to both cell phones and landlines, claiming to be from Spark reporting a problem with our equipment. Some are even ringing from an ‘03’ number.
Tip# 1
We don’t use Spark to provide our network services, so Spark would never call us.
Tip# 2
If there ever was an issue, your wonderful IS team would be contacting you first, to arrange a fix/visit/electronic magic.
Tip# 3
If you’d like to know more about details of the scam, Spark have posted a rundown on what you might expect from a scammer call. You can read about it here:

So what to do?
Simply hang up! If you engage with them in any way, they know they have a valid number and might continue ringing until they get their way, so best just to leave them be. Unfortunately, there’s little the phone company can do to block, so no need to ring IS to report. Just send a dial tone their way.
