How to fix people with the wrong info in Cornerstone

This guide will show you how you can fix peoples data if you notice that it's incorrect.

Cornerstone data is used in lots of systems and dashboards. And since you're here reading this, it must be wrong. So how do you fix it?

If you think something has been changed in error email us at cornerstone@wisegroup.co.nz and we'll fix it or tell you what to do. 

Changes kaimahi can do themselves

Updating personal info, drivers licenses, qualifications, practicing certs, etc can be done by the kaimahi, those changes are listed in this section. 

Other changes require a Variation to Employment request via the eForm on the The Well eForms Hub.

Changes that need a Variation to Employment

variation to employment is required for changes to the things listed below. These go to the Recruitment team for processing, they'll decide if signed paperwork is required, get it signed, and arrange for systems to be updated.  

They are changes of:

  • Job title (a.k.a. Position).
  • Manager.
  • Employer, or Brand
  • Cost centre.
  • Team. 
  • Site/location of work.
  • Hours, or working day pattern.
  • Tenure (to/from fixed-term, casual, permanent).
  • Salary/pay rate.
  • Start date.
  • Fixed-term end date.

Mostly, these changes won't be actioned in Cornerstone until the variation signed. So plan ahead, act fast.

People who have left

Leavers should disappear from dashboards, The Well, Outlook lists etc within 48 hours of their last day at work.  

If you're seeing people who have left Wise then it may be because no Leaving form was entered. If in doubt we'll check it out - email cornerstone@wisegroup.co.nz or use the Cornerstone support request eForm

New starters

New starters should be visible in Outlook and EmpLive before they start, and visible in Cornerstone, The Well, dashboards within 24 hours of starting. 

They need to have accepted their Offer of Employment, and have a correct start date.
