If the candidate has not been successful, you will need to decline the candidate to let them know. The steps for how to decline an applicant are detailed below.
Go to Cornerstone and click on Hiring Dashboard.
Scroll down to your requisitions section and click on active applicants.
Select the candidate(s) that are being declined, select Change Status, select Closed then select a disposition reason.
Note: An email will be sent out to the candidate after 24-48 hours letting them know that they were unsuccessful if the disposition was a pre-interview option. If a post interview disposition was selected, you will be required to decline them verbally.
