Add a Contact to Outlook

You can add internal and external contacts to your Outlook to keep track of all those phone numbers, email addresses, and contact notes.

To add an internal contact to Outlook

Go to the address book in the Find group in the Outlook ribbon at the top.

Search for the name of the person.  Right click and select add to contacts

To add an external person to your contacts, you can go to the contacts area and select new contact.  Or, right click on an email address you've received and choose add to contacts.

You can even add entire groups of people to your contacts with just a few clicks.

With your contacts list populated in Outlook, you can synchronise them with Outlook on your mobile phone.  This way you never have to worry about losing a number!  See this WiseUp! article on syncing your Outlook Contacts with your mobile phone.
