How to add external training

What is 'external' training?

External training is training that's not part of our standard catalogue. Training that you need to have reflected on your training record but others in the Wise Group are unlikely to do.

If it is training that you are expected to complete as part of your job then you should be able to find it in the learning catalogue instead.

If you can't find training that you think should be available in Cornerstone, please email cornerstone@wisegroup.co.nz.

1. Open the 'Add External Training' form

Go to the Cornerstone Welcome page, in the My Learning section choose Completed Training.

The ‘Add External Training’ form is available from the three dots (…) on the top right of the page.

2. Complete the form.

It's up to you to decide what information is important enough to add.

Title and Provider are mandatory. It's usually helpful to add the 'Starting date' and 'Hours'.

What next?

First your manager will be sent an email asking them to approve (in Cornerstone).

Once approved the training will be visible on your Training Record when you have the 'Completed' filter selected.
