What is Teams?

Teams is a communication and collaboration platform that gives teams the ability to work together and share information via a common space.

This short, interactive demo provides you with everything you need to know!  If you haven’t used MS Teams before, watch this demo first.

What can I do with Teams?

  • Meetings - Create and join meetings in Teams that include audio, video and screen sharing
  • Calling - Make internal and external phone calls from Teams
  • Instant Messaging - Chat gives you the ability to chat in a group or one on one with your team members.  Think of Instant messaging, both with one or two co-workers, or with your whole team.
  • Team Chat- Called channels, you can have conversations with your team or with coworkers on a project, kept neatly together in threads.

How do I find Teams?

Teams will launch automatically when you start your computer.  If you don’t see Teams running, click on the Start (Windows) icon and start typing Teams
