If you need to use the dial pad while you make a call on Teams you can do this by following the steps below. This is helpful if you dial a number where you cave to enter a number to connect to different departments.
While in the call on your desktop or laptop, you can press the dial pad icon in the call window to bring up the dial pad, then press the numbers on the keyboard or click on the numbers with the mouse (or your finger on a touch screen).
