Microsoft Office Lens is an app for your mobile phone that lets you take a picture of a document and upload it as a PDF to your OneDrive. MS Office Lens can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store or iTunes store.
When you open the app, you can choose one of the pre-loaded settings of Whiteboard, Document, Business Card, or Photo.
Take a photo of the document and you will be able to resize or crop the borders to fit the corners of the document.
Then save the photo as if it were a scanned PDF to your OneDrive. You can also save it as a Word doc that it will try to use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to convert the pictures into editable text.
The Office Lens functionality has been incorporated into the OneDrive app as well.
