How to populate the Residential Tenancy Agreement for LinkPeople from Zavanti

The residential tenancy agreement is the agreement used between LinkPeople and the client. Zavanti will pre-populate this template with the information provided within the system. This guide will show you how to populate and check the fields.

  1. Open the tenancy that requires an agreement to be populated.
  2. Locate the three little dots in the top option bar.
  3. Open the RTA tab.
    Note: This page gives you a preview of all the fields that will populate the word template. You can use this page as your final check before you export the word template. Most fields are locked which means you cannot edit them from this view and you have to find and update the fields in other areas on the property.


  4. In the table TENANCY TERMS can be set here. Rules set on the Property are shown for reference, you must manually choose the rules you wish to apply to this tenancy agreement. Click the drop-down arrow to show options to apply, and tick which boxes to apply.


  5. The below box is a free text box to enable you to add other relevant terms.
  6. Once your review is complete, save at the top.
  7. In the top search bar on the property.
  8. Navigate to Word Templates.
  9. Open relevant Tenancy RTA.


  10. The file will automatically download to your computer.


  11. Open the file, click ‘enable editing’ and review all information in Word. Ensure nothing is missing if it is, update in Zavanti first and then re-download the template.


  12. Once you have reviewed the document, save to your computer.
  13. Go back into the property profile in Zavanti.
  14. Once complete, navigate to the three dots on the property entity. Locate the documents folder.


  15. Save in the ‘Landlord Agreements’ folder.
