Using tabs in Teams

Follow

Tabs in Microsoft Teams are quick links to documents and apps so your members can get to what they frequently use, all in one handy spot.  You can have tabs in both Teams Channels and private chats.  Imagine having an excel spreadsheet roster for your group, or that communication document that your team is collaborating on.

By default, Channels have two default tabs, Posts and Files.

whereas private chat messages have four default tabs, Conversations, Files, Organization, and Activity.

Note: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and PDF files must be uploaded to the Files tab before they can be converted to tabs. Any existing uploaded file can be converted to a tab.

For anything else, click the plus sign at the top tabs bar to add a new tab.

Then choose what type of Tab you would like to add.  So many choices!
