Where to find Channels in Microsoft Teams

Channels in Microsoft Teams are like group chats, but better!  You can have different channels with different members in them, so you can have group conversations and share documents with just the people that need to know.

Depending on how you have your Microsoft Teams configured there are 2 places you may see Channels. You will either see them combined or separate. You can change your view by following our guide to change your view. 

Using a separate view: 

1. Click on Teams to access different Teams that you are a part of the channels can be found under each team. 

Using a combined view

1. Click on Chat 
2. Scroll down to the Teams and Channels section

Note: You can drag and drop Teams and Channels to order them in a way that works for you. You will only see channels that you are a part of.
