How to schedule/complete a WPS tenancy inspection

This guidance will explain how Wise Property Service (WPS) can schedule and complete a an inspection within Zavanti. 

To be completed with a PPS and TM during property onboarding to see if the property suits LinkPeople's needs. 

  1. Navigate to the PROPERTIES tab under the Properties subheading.

  2. Click to open the property you want to add an inspection to. 
  3. Click on the INSPECTIONS tab.

  4. On the property you have chosen, there should already be the inspection type you require available in the inspections table.

  5. Click the inspection.
  6. Complete the following:
    • Category
    • Type
    • Scheduled Start
    • Scheduled End (same date as start, later time)
    • Inspected by (Can only put one entry, if more than one person inspected, use the comment box below for more details)

  7. Press Save.
    Note: If the inspection you require is not already available, you must manually schedule one. 

Manually schedule an inspection

  1. Click +New Inspection.
  2. Complete the following:
    • Category
    • Type
    • Scheduled Start
    • Scheduled End
    • Inspected by

  3. Press save.
  4. Go to the INSPECTION DETAILS tab.

  5. If any asset/location requires the Landlord to complete some maintenance, identify using the asset condition.

  6. Add a comment.

  7. Click save.
  8. On the GENERAL tab, use the three boxes to summarise the inspection and what requires attention.

Export the Property Condition Report

Once the inspection is complete and all maintenance or improvements have been identified you can export the ‘Property Condition Report’ to supply to the Landlord.

  1. Navigate to Word Templates in the top options bar.
  2. Choose Property Condition Report.

  3. The file will automatically download to your computer.
  4. Open and review the file.

Closing an Inspection

  1. Go to GENERAL tab within the inspection.
  2. To finalise an inspection, you enter the following:
    • Actual inspection date
    • Date Inspection Finalized

Note: Date of Inspection Finalized should only be used once all required maintenance is completed.
