Privacy Commissioner Training

The Privacy commission provides multiple trainings that can be accesses from their platform.  Follow along on these steps to get to the course.

Update: As of January 2023 the trainings can be launched directly through Cornerstone without needing to create an account with the privacy commissioner.

If you have previously completed the course and need to download your certificate of completion to mark a training as complete you will be able to log back into the privacy commissioner website and download it there. 

Go to Cornerstone, in the My Learning section choose My Learner Home.

 

Search for the Privacy ABC course if it's not already listed for you.

Click on the Privacy ABC - Privacy Commission course name then on the next screen hit the Launch button.

After the first time you press 'Launch' the button changes to 'Notify Observer'. If you need to re-enter the course click on the down arrow and choose Launch.

A new window will open to the Privacy Commission website.

 

Click on either Get Started or the Privacy ABC course.  You will be taken to page where you can sign in or register.

 

Click Register and fill in a new Username, Password, and your details.

 

Once your account is created, you can then click on the Privacy ABC course to launch it.

 

Click the Enrol me button.

 

Click on Unit 1 to launch the course modules.

 

Continue working through the Unit sections until all have been completed.

 

When finished with the units, click on Certificate of Completion beneath the Unit modules. 

Use the Get your certificate button and download the certificate.  You will need to upload this into your Snapshot documents folder. 

Once you have uploaded your certificate mark the training as complete on your training record.
