Create Speed Dial Groups in Teams

You can create speed dial groups to quickly see an overview of a team or a group of people.  It can be useful to see who is available or away in a team at a glance.

Here's a short video of creating Speed Dial Groups.  Follow along below for step by step instructions.

Create a New Speed Dial Group in Teams

Select Calls from the left hand menu in Microsoft Teams.  Choose Speed Dial from the Calls Menu.  Then click on New Group.

Type a name for the new group and click Create.

Select the ellipse (three dots) menu to the right of the new group and click on Add a contact to this group.

Start typing a name.  When the person appears, click on their name.

Click Add to add the person to the group.

Continue adding contacts to the group.  You will then be able to see a group of contacts and their status at a glance.
