Zoom

In order to use the Poly room system for a Zoom meeting you will need to use your laptop and put the room system into device mode. Follow the steps below to achieve this.

Please DO NOT remove any cables from the TV or from the camera.

  1. It’s important that you follow these instructions in the following order
  2. Do not connect your laptop yet
  3. Swipe in from the right hand side of the touch panel to bring up an options menu

  4. Select Device Mode
  5. Connect the blue USB cable to your laptop
  6. Connect the Yellow HDMI cable to your laptop

You can now start the Zoom meeting and choose the Poly camera, speaker and microphone for your devices.

If for some reason the above doesn’t work then you should restart the camera by turning it off at the wall and then back on again. The camera takes almost three minutes to restart so be patient. If it still doesn’t work then it is likely that someone has changed some cables around. Please see your building admin for assistance.
