Welcome to the EliteBook X360.  If you're upgrading from a previous Elitebook, there are new features to get to know.  To find out, power it on, you'll find the power button on the left hand side.

Touchscreen

The Elitebook has a touch screen, so you can poke at the screen instead of clicking with the trackpad or a mouse.  Much faster!  Microsoft Office programs have a touch mode to allow room for fingertips to do the poking.

The touch pad below the keyboard has pressure sensitive hemispheres, so a push on the right side of the touch pad is a right click, and a push on the left is a left click

360 degree hinge

The X360 has a special hinge which allows the screen to be folded all the way back.  You can use it as a tablet when folded all the way back, or set it to a tent position for displaying to others.

Login with a smile

The EliteBook x360 has a special camera that allows it to recognise your face, instead of needing to type in your password.  This feature is called Windows Hello.  You can also setup the fingerprint sensor to login instead of a password.

Box for Docks

Gone are the slider docks, instead, the X360 docks with the lightning USB-C docking cable.  You'll start seeing more of these around.  These are the same plugs as the mini laptop docks.  Both will charge the X360, though the cube docks will charge it faster.
