Outlook has a feature to assist with finding meeting rooms, helpful for booking rooms during busy places and times. Start off by creating a new meeting request in the Outlook Calendar view:
or
Toggle on Room Finder in the top ribbon. For smaller windows check under Options
This will show the room finder on the right hand side of a meeting request window
Pick a date for your meeting and choose a location
Click on one of the suggested times for your meeting, and the room finder will tell you automagically which rooms are available at that time. Pick your favourite room from the menu on the right and that room will be added to your meeting request.
Room Finder also prepopulates every room in the scheduling assistant view if you want a more hands on choice.
What's that?! You haven't tried the Scheduling Assistant before? Check out Choose a meeting time that suits everyone.
