Manage the Shared with Me folder

Sharing is caring, but sometimes the Shared with me folder on One Drive can become overwhelmed. Microsoft have a few options to keep the caring under control.

  Hey! What’s this button do?

Gone is the dangerous delete option, instead the "Remove from shared list" simply removes the file from sight. You still have access to the file someone shared with you, and can find it again using the Search field.

Focus with filter

Only want to see files from a certain person?  You can!

  The filters pane is useful to limit the view by only showing files by type, when it was modified, or by who shared the file with you.

Sort it Out

  There is also the option to use the Sort menu to arrange files by Name, Date, recent activity, even by who shared the file with you.
